Western North Carolina Music & Camping Festival

Soulshine Farm Music Festival is a family friendly, 3-day music, arts and camping festival located in Green Mountain, NC, about 15 minutes north of the town of Burnsville, NC in Yancey County, Western North Carolina. This area in the Blue Ridge Mountains is known as Appalachia and has some of the most creative and talented people around. This area also hosts gorgeous waterfalls, clean rivers, awesome hiking trails, and is home to 6 of the 10 highest peaks in Eastern US. That being said, Soulshine is proud to have WNC as our home and is  dedicated to featuring local musicians and artists from here and surrounding areas at our annual gathering. See y'all on the farm!

AUGUST 12-14, 2021

June 19, 2020

Soulshine Family,

We sure hope this finds you all healthy, happy, safe and sound. You have probably guessed by now, sadly we are unable to have Soulshine 2020 in August. With the spread of COVID-19, and the current NC Phase 2 guidelines*, we must postpone this year's event until next year, August 12-14, 2021. We appreciate your patience with our announcement.

You may also notice the changing of our regularly blocked out date of the 2nd weekend of August every year to the 3rd weekend in August 2021. We realize this may effect your ability to attend due to school start dates. We are sorry for any inconvenience and sad if you may not be able to come. That being said, our decision for the next gathering's date is based on our desire to give our long-time loyal supporters (7 years <3 thanks!) the ability to avoid having to choose between Soulshine and other events happening the same weekend in 2021. We are sincerely hoping for the success of all small festivals out there amid this strange life/world we are currently finding ourselves in. We are in this together folks!

Along with the news of this year’s cancellation due to COVID-19 also comes two options for Soulshiners that have already purchased tickets and/or camping passes for 2020.

Your options are:
~1~ Roll-over your current tickets/passes to next year for Soulshine Farm Music Festival 7, August 12-14, 2021.

All current tickets and passes (camping, RV and Car camping , etc.) purchased before June 19, 2020 will be honored for the 2021 Soulshine Farm Music Festival. For those of you that are rolling-over, your order will be exactly the same as when it was originally purchased. There will be no transfers or exchanges.

AND…As a sweet little bonus, for you folks that choose this option of rolling-over, we want to show our appreciation for your continued loyalty, support and love to Soulshine by inviting you to an 'All the Love Soulshine Pre-Party', the Wednesday before gates open (August 11, 2021). This will include: early camping access to all camping locations*, local music TBD*, snack foods and drinks*, and a Soulshine 2021 souvenir can koozie*. (*more details to come in an email)

~2~ Request a Refund

If you are unable to commit to attending Soulshine 2021 and choose to request a refund, please allow up to 30 days for your refund to process.

Current 2020 ticket/pass purchasers will be contacted by email within the next 48 hours. Keep an eye out for an email from randi@soulshinefarmfest.com outlining refund and roll-over options. You will have thirty (30) days from the receipt of the email to respond with your choice. The deadline to request a refund is July 23, 2020. If you do not respond within the 30 days, you will automatically roll your 2020 Soulshine Tickets/Passes over to the next Soulshine Farm Music Festival, held August 12-14, 2021. You will be included in the 'All the Love Soulshine Pre-Party' :), and void your refund eligibility.

In addition, we would like to remind folks that Soulshine Farm Music Festival is an all inclusive music and arts festival. We gather every year to celebrate the love of music, love of art, the love of the community we've built and the love of our beautiful mountains…together as one. Soulshine 'does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, musical performers, artists, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and all festival patrons'.** Y'ALL means ALL!

*"In Phase 2, gatherings of more than 10 people in a single indoor space remains prohibited. In outdoor spaces, gatherings of more than 25 people are prohibited. These mass gathering limits include parades, fairs, festivals, auditoriums, stadiums, arenas, conference rooms and meeting halls."
