FROM ASHEVILLE, NC:
I-26 West (18 miles) to EXIT 9. Go 19N/19E through Burnsville, NC. It will either be 17.8 miles to 197 NORTH OR 20 miles to Micaville Loop on 19N/19E.
If you take 197 NORTH: Take LEFT off of 19N/19E onto 197 N. Go 9.5 miles (you start following the river half way there) to Double Island Rd. Go RIGHT onto Double Island Road. Then go 3.8 miles to Soulshine Farm on the left. These roads are curvy and mountainous, use caution and PLEASE adhere to speed limits. You may encounter a deer or a tractor along your way here.
If you take Micaville Loop: Take RIGHT off of 19N/19E onto Micaville Loop(s). There are 2 Micaville Loop 'rights', if you miss the first Micaville Loop due to the construction on 19E, just go to the 2nd one BUT instead of a LEFT on to Double Island Rd., you will take a RIGHT onto Double Island Rd off the 2nd Micaville. Follow 7.25 miles to Soulshine Farm on the right. This road will be VERY curvy and mountainous. Please Use caution. This road will also seem very long although only 7 miles. No worries once you are on Double Island, you won't miss the Festival :) There will be signs along the way. Look for the FLAGS and Main gate entrance on the right.
The last place to get all your groceries, beer (Soulshine is BYOB), ice, sunscreen, Starbucks, cigs or other store items is on the RIGHT at the INGLES on 19N before you get to 197N. We will have food vendors and craft vendors there, and also ICE onsite for purchase thru out the weekend.
FROM JOHNSON CITY, TN:
Take I-26 E/US-23 S toward Asheville, NC about 8.6 miles to EXIT 32 for TN-173 toward Unicoi Rd. Turn left off exit onto StateHwy 173, go 1.1 miles. (follow Hwy 173 to the right onto Unicoi Rd/Erwin Hwy) Turn LEFT onto TN-107 E. go 10.1 miles (Entering North Carolina) Continue onto NC-226 S for 10.8 miles. At Red Hill Grocery, Turn right onto NC-197 S and go 1.6 miles to Double Island Rd go 4.9 miles to Soulshine Farm on the left. 7216 Double Island Road, Green Mountain, NC 28740.
The last place to get limited groceries, cigs, ice and beer (Soulshine is BYOB) if you come this direction is Red Hill Grocery before you turn RIGHT onto NC-197 S. They close at 7pm so plan accordingly. We will have food vendors and craft vendors there, and also ICE onsite for purchase thru out the weekend.
What should I bring to Soulshine?
NO- PLEASE LEAVE AT HOME!
DOGS or PETS- this is a working farm with free roaming animals. You will not be allowed onsite with dogs or other pets.*service dogs ok
GLASS- bottles/other glass will be not allowed

firewood - No unauthorized fires please. There will be communal fire pits on site. Share the light!
